INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A 29-year-old man has been arrested for his role in a fatal overdose that happened in September, Indianapolis police announced.

Officers took Kameron Tinnins into custody on Thursday, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says.

The investigation into Timmins began on Sept. 30, 2025, when IMPD officers were called to a death investigation in the 8700 block of Old Town West Drive. That’s an address within the Barrington Estates Apartments at 86th Street and Ditch Road on Indy’s north side.

Police entered an apartment and found a man deceased. It was determined he died of a drug overdose.
