IMPD seeks help to find military veteran last seen in February

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police on Friday asked for help to find a 25-year-old man last seen in February on the west side of Indianapolis.

A notification from Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said Vincent Eliyahu Smith on Feb. 23 left his home in the 2900 block of South Fleming Street. That’s in the Lafayette Heights housing addition a few blocks south of the I-70 interchange with Sam Jones Expressway.

He left without his car or any personal items.

Smith is a military veteran, and police said he may require medical assistance.

Smith is described as 6 feet and 185 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black coat and gray sweatpants.

Anyone who sees Smith was asked to call 911 immediately. Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact the IMPD at 317-327-6160.
