Indiana health care providers oppose Medicaid cost-cutting proposal
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Health care providers worry a proposed change to Indiana Medicaid aimed at cutting costs could cut services.
The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) has proposed a change to the 340B Drug Program which would significantly reduce a revenue source for many hospitals and clinics, while saving the state millions.
“Changing this will cause a ripple disaster effect across Indiana in health care,” Damien Center President & CEO Alan Witchey told News 8 in an interview.
