Indiana lawmakers approve limits on teen social media
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Social media companies would have to block some features from teen users under a bill lawmakers sent to the governor Friday morning.
The bill would require social media companies to verify the ages of anyone requesting an account from Indiana. If a platform determines the person asking for an account is under the age of 16, the company would have to get parental consent to create the account.
