INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana University football team on Tuesday afternoon landed at Indianapolis International Airport after their College Football Playoff National Championship victory on Monday night.

The atmosphere in the 5 p.m. hour was notably cold temperature-wise, in the 20s, and lacked any fanfare for the returning champions.

Fernando Mendoza, a key player, was spotted walking back to the bus following the team’s arrival.

Despite their triumph, no fans were present at the IND airport to greet the team at the airport.
