Indiana digs out after massive snowfall
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Marion County will downgrade to a travel watch from a travel warning at midnight Monday, as the winter storm that left more than 11 inches of snow and sub-zero windchill temperatures in Indianapolis begins to subside.
In a statement in a news release, Democratic Mayor Joe Hogsett expressed gratitude for community patience during this severe weather: “We are in the midst of a historic winter storm here in Indianapolis. To all of our neighbors who have demonstrated understanding and patience in the wake of this severe weather: your city thanks you.”
