Indianapolis set to host another outstanding year of sports in 2026

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis had itself another outstanding year in 2025 hosting sporting events.

From the WNBA All-Star Game, to the WWE Royal Rumble, and to LIV Golf, there was always something happening in the Circle City.

2026 is set to be another fantastic year for sports in Indianapolis.

It’s set to be an incredible year for basketball. In just one weekend, four men’s college basketball champions will be crowned in Indianapolis with the DI Men’s Final Four and National Championship, the NIT, and the DII and DIII National Champioinships.

Golf will take center stage again in August, with LIV Golf returning for the second straight year.

Plus, Indianapolis will host its annual events that make sports in the Circle City special, like the Indianapolis 500, the Brickyard 400, the Big Ten Football Championship Game, and the NFL Scouting Combine.

And of course, Indy will continue to host the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, and Indiana Fever, as well as the rest of the city’s professional and college sports teams.
