Indianapolis south side shooting leaves man dead

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man died after a shooting in residential area on the south side of Indianapolis, police said.

About 6 p.m. Thursday, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department received a report that a man with gunshot wounds walked into the Community South Hospital. The man was later died.

Police believe that the man was shot on in the 7000 block of Camden Street, which is near the intersection of U.S. 31 and Southport Road.

The man’s identity was not immediately known. IMPD did not shared any information on a possible suspect.
