INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The American Culinary Federation will host its 56th annual President’s Gala on Saturday at the Indianapolis Zoo. The event, titled “Savannah Soiree,” celebrates culinary excellence while raising money for student and professional scholarships.
The fundraiser is open to the public and is expected to draw about 200 guests. The evening will include a five-course meal, a high school cooking competition and a silent auction supporting the local culinary community.
Chef Jason Crouch of the Indianapolis Zoo will prepare a five-course dinner with wine pairings. Chef Jack London, the federation’s presidential champion, said the menu showcases high-end culinary techniques.
