INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indy Humane, in partnership with Hensley Legal Group, will host its annual Pawpalooza event on Saturday, offering free pet adoptions for families.

Hensley Legal Group is covering all adoption fees for the event, which will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at Indy Humane’s Michigan Road location.

The event is designed to help connect pets with loving homes and marks the continuation of a five-year partnership between the animal welfare organization and the law firm. Last year’s Pawpalooza resulted in 66 adoptions, and organizers have set a goal of 100 pets finding their “fur-ever” families this year.

Indy Humane CEO Donna Casamento said the fee coverage helps remove barriers for families interested in adopting.
