INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A health insurance navigator on Monday said the end of expanded Affordable Care Act subsidies does not mean people will lose health insurance assistance altogether.

Congress went home for the year earlier this month with no solution for the expanded Affordable Care Act subsidies that expire with the end of the year on Wednesday. Under the original Affordable Care Act, most people who sign up for health insurance through Healthcare.gov are eligible for tax credits to lower their monthly premiums if their annual income is between 100% and 400% of the federal poverty line.
