IU baseball to play at Wrigley Field on May 1

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) — Indiana baseball is officially scheduled to play a regular season game at the iconic Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illinois.

Indiana will play Northwestern on Friday, May 1, at Wrigley Field. First pitch will come at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.

The two teams will play a three-game series, with only the first game of the series at Wrigley Field. The last two games of the series will take place at Northwestern’s home stadium.

IU’s game at Wrigley Field will be its first contest in an Major League Baseball stadium since 2019 at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington.

Indiana also played at the Twins home stadium, Target Field, for the 2013 Big Ten Tournament.
