IU dominates Minnesota on Senior Night

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) — IU cruised to the win on Senior Night, dominating Minnesota, 77-47.

IU was firing on all cylinders offensively, shooting 57% from the field and 41% from three. Sam Alexis led the charge in the first half, with 17 points on 8-9 shooting. He finished the game with 23 points.

Lamar Wilkerson added 16 points and made his 100th three-pointer of the season. Wilkerson and Steve Alford are the only IU players with 100 made three-pointers in a single season.

The Hoosiers snapped a four game losing streak with the victory. It’s the fourth straight year that the Hoosiers have won on Senior Night.

Next up for IU is the regular season finale on Saturday on the road against Ohio State. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
