Jackson woman, former teacher admits to sexually assaulting teen student

Freehold, NJ – The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office says a former intermediate school teacher has admitted to sexually assaulting a teenage student, concluding a nearly two-year investigation that exposed a prolonged pattern of abuse.

According to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago, 45-year-old Allison Havemann-Niedrach of Jackson Township pleaded guilty Wednesday to first-degree aggravated sexual assault before Superior Court Judge Jill G. O’Malley. Havemann-Niedrach, who formerly taught at Freehold Intermediate School, was arrested in June 2024 after investigators determined the abuse began in January of that year and continued for about six months.
