'Jason refused to stay out of the fight': Utah Co. Sheriff's Officer passes away after battling cancer

The Utah County Sheriff's Office (UCSO) is mourning after a fight with cancer took the life of one of their own. Lieutenant Jason Randall passed away in his home, surrounded by his family on Friday morning, according to a social media post from the UCSO. The post added that Randall had been "valiantly fighting cancer" since last year (2025).
