Josh Kocher to succeed Greg Garrison as Hamilton County prosecutor

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Hamilton County’s chief deputy prosecutor has been selected as its next prosecuting attorney.

The county’s Republican caucus on Monday night selected Josh Kocher to succeed Greg Garrison, who stepped down as prosecutor Dec. 20 due to health concerns.

Kocher has served in Hamilton County as a prosecutor since 2006. He will be sworn in Tuesday from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. in the county courthouse.
