Judge considers whether accused El Cajon dental office shooter can act as own attorney

A judge heard arguments Monday regarding whether Mohammed Abdulkareem, who is accused of killing an El Cajon dentist and wounding two others in a 2024 shooting, is competent to continue representing himself.
