Jury declares Missouri felon a sexually violent predator

Last week, a jury in Jackson County, Missouri, determined a convicted felon meets the legal criteria to be classified as a sexually violent predator under state law. As a result, he’ll be committed to the state’s Department of Mental Health for control, care, and treatment.
