Kidani's retirement announcement puts Senate seat up for grabs on November ballot

The Hawaii Republican Party is excited about the opportunity to gain a seat in the state Senate due to the retirement of Sen. Michelle Kidani, and both parties will submit candidates for a special-election runoff in November.
