King Charles Reportedly ‘Made Excuses’ for Ex-Prince Andrew Scandal Until Prince William Stepped In

King Charles III was not swift in his decision to cut off brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, according to a new report.

In the Tuesday, February 10, edition of Rob Shuter‘s Naughty But Nice substack, a source claimed the King of England, 77, “dithered,” explaining, “He stalled, he made excuses, and he worried far more about Andrew’s feelings than the monarchy’s image.”

Shuter reported that the sovereign seemed to be willing to take action against Andrew, but then walked it back.

“He didn’t want to upset Andrew,” a second insider shared. “That was the priority.”

A third source noted that Andrew’s other siblings, Princess Anne and Prince Edward, also didn’t do much to intervene as “nobody wanted to be the bad guy.”

However, a fourth insider revealed Prince William stepped up and brought sense into the situation.
