Kokomo considers annexing 750 acres for unspecified projects
UPDATE: Following a public hearing, the Kokomo Common Council on the night of Feb. 23, 2026, approved a resolution with a fiscal plan to annex nearly 750 acres. The approval will allow the council to introduce an ordinance on March 9 for the annexation and rezoning of the property.
KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) – The Kokomo Common Council will consider annexing nearly 750 acres from Howard County for future developments. But it’s not clear what those developments could be.
