LAKE VILLAGE, Ind. (WISH) — A small northwestern Indiana community on Wednesday mourned a husband and wife who were killed in a Tuesday night tornado.

Edward Kozlowski, 89, and his wife, Arlene Kozlowski, 84, were found dead in their home with multiple blunt-force injuries, the Newton County Coroner’s Office said. A autopsy was set for Friday in Lafayette.

Republican Gov. Mike Braun said in a social media post on Wednesday morning, “Maureen and I are praying for the families who lost loved ones and for every Hoosier impacted by the devastating tornadoes in Northwest Indiana.”
