Lifeguards rescue man in distress at end of Oceanside Pier

Oceanside lifeguards rescued a man who ended up in the Pacific Ocean while carrying a backpack near the end of the Oceanside Pier. Paramedics gave the man advanced life support treatment before transporting him to the hospital.
