WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — It all comes down to this.
“We have 57 of some of the best golfers in the world, so we’re really excited to have them out here,” Brandon Snell, director of golf at The Club at Chatham Hills, said.
LIV Golf has returned to Westfield for its 2026 Championship tournament for its final event of the season. The champions will be crowned this weekend after the league confirmed it canceled its individual and team championship which was scheduled for Aug. 27-30 in Michigan.
With the success of last year’s tournament, the Club at Chatham Hills is excited to host once again.
“We know that this is a sports town,” Betsy Henke Garfield of Henke Development Group said. “People show up, they love competition, and so we’re extremely excited to bring that back. Last year, it generated over $35 million in economic impact directly into our community.”
The four-day tournament tees off Thursday. Organizers are expecting near sell-out crowds, building off the more than 60,000 in attendance in 2025. Fans will see all players tee off simultaneously from different holes during the shotgun format tournament.
