Louisiana Department of Health restricts EBT purchases to in-state, border ZIP codes for SNAP recipients

Beginning May 26, 2026, Louisiana SNAP recipients will only be able to use their EBT cards to purchase items within the state and in approved ZIP codes in neighboring states, with temporary exemptions available for out-of-state travel.
