Brooklyn ticket hits $19K TAKE 5 jackpot in midday drawing

BROOKLYN, NY — A TAKE 5 lottery ticket sold in Brooklyn landed a top prize in the midday drawing on Friday, delivering a $19,015 win to a lucky player.

The winning ticket was sold at D & W Liquors, located at 180 Wilson Avenue in Brooklyn.

According to the New York Lottery, the ticket matched all five numbers drawn in the March 14 TAKE 5 midday drawing to claim the top prize.

TAKE 5 numbers are selected from a pool of one through 39, with drawings held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Winners of New York Lottery draw games have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
