Lucky Pasadena man hits second $50K lottery win in repeat jackpot shock
PASADENA, Md. — A Maryland man is celebrating an incredible stroke of luck after winning a $50,000 lottery prize for the second time in less than two years.
The Anne Arundel County resident previously won a $50,000 Bonus Match 5 top prize in June 2024 — and has now done it again after matching all five numbers in the March 18 drawing.
The winner purchased his latest ticket at EZ Quick Food Market on Mountain Road in Pasadena, buying a $6 ticket with nine lines of numbers — the same way he played when he won the first time.
He checked the ticket at home and realized one of the lines matched all five numbers, securing another top prize.
His wife was there to confirm the win and celebrate, just as she had during his first big payout.
The retiree said he plans to use the winnings to pay bills. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and gardening.
