INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man hurt in a shooting at a near north side gas station Saturday night died after arriving at a hospital, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Online police reports show IMPD was called to a BP gas station at 37 W. 38th St. around 7:50 p.m.
When they arrived, they found a man inside the gas station suffering a gunshot wound. IMPD originally reported the victim was in critical condition, but he later died.
Police have not shared any additional information on possible suspects or what led up to the shooting.
The Marion County Coroner’s Office was expected to release the victim’s identity at a later date.
