MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Morgan County EMS posted on Facebook Friday that a Martinsville High School football player was airlifted to the hospital.
Medics from the Martinsville Fire Department were dispatched to the high school Friday for an injured football player.
The player was assessed and then airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital under the care of the IU Health Lifeline flight team.
Morgan County EMS did not immediately respond when asked about the player’s condition or what led to the airlifting.
The Facebook post commended school staff and teammates for clearly directing medics to the injured athlete when they arrived and quickly providing them essential information.
