AAR Aircraft Services shutting down Indianapolis operations
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Illinois-based AAR Aircraft Services sent a notice to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development stating that they are planning to close their Indianapolis facility.
The aerospace company plans on laying off 329 local workers on a rolling basis starting on Feb. 15 and continuing through February 2027.
AAR provides maintenance and inspection services for a wide range of aircrafts, including Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer. AAR has leased space in the Indianapolis International Airport since 2004.
