Massachusetts governor reacts to mental health crisis response in hill towns

As NEWS10 continues to follow mental health responses in the hill towns of Massachusetts, officials are working to establish a task force for alternative response. In July, $250,000 was allocated toward the incoming state budget to establish that task force. This plays a significant role as call response times in Hinsdale in instances of crisis have sometimes been over an hour long, with a short staffed department relying on the support of state police. NEWS10 spoke with Governor Maura Healey about next steps.
