$6.5 million lottery jackpot hit by single ticket using mobile app

TRENTON, N.J. — A single lottery ticket purchased through a mobile app has won the $6.5 million Pick-6 jackpot in New Jersey.

Lottery officials said the winning ticket for the March 23 drawing was sold using the Jackpocket app. The retailer associated with the sale will receive a $10,000 bonus.

The winning numbers were 02, 03, 06, 33, 38 and 41.

This marks the second Pick-6 jackpot win of the year, according to lottery officials.

The jackpot will now reset to $2 million for the next drawing scheduled for March 26.

Players who added the Double Play option also had a chance at additional prizes, with separate numbers drawn for that feature.
