Meghan Trainor is weighing in lightly on the recent buzz surrounding an alleged “toxic” celebrity mom group.
On Thursday, January 8, the 32-year-old singer addressed the chatter for the first time by posting a playful TikTok after Ashley French’s viral The Cut essay sparked widespread conversation.
The essay detailed French’s experience with a former mom friend group she described as unhealthy, and Trainor has been rumored to be among its members.
Rather than offering a direct statement, Trainor chose humor. In the video, she sits at her computer typing before reacting with shock, as text across the screen reads, “Me finding out about the apparent mom group drama.”
The clip is soundtracked by her upcoming single, “Still Don’t Care,” from her forthcoming album Toy with Me, set for release on April 24.
