Metro Council decision could put East Baton Rouge library tax on June ballot

Voters in East Baton Rouge Parish will decide in June whether to continue funding the parish library system through a 10-year library millage continuation set for June 27, 2026, which would provide nearly all of the funding for library operations and bring in about $59.5 million each year through 2035.
