Minor killed in shooting, 1 suspect arrested

DENVER (KDVR) -- A juvenile male died late Friday night after a shooting near downtown Denver.

Police said officers responded to the 3800 block of North Walnut Street around 10:30 p.m. and found the juvenile victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

The investigation is ongoing. However, another juvenile male was arrested for investigation of manslaughter related to the shooting.

Police said the victim and the suspect were known to each other.

The identity of the suspect was not released due to his age.
