A confrontation outside a Kansas City fast food restaurant turned violent Monday night when a woman allegedly tracked down her former boyfriend, shot him, and smashed his new girlfriend’s car, according to court documents.

KANSAS CITY, MO – A Missouri man was hospitalized after he was shot in the chest outside a McDonald’s on North Indiana Avenue, in what investigators describe as a targeted encounter involving his ex-girlfriend, Jolie Koop.
