Music Fans Rejoice: Arctic Monkeys Return With First New Song in Four Years

Arctic Monkeys have returned with their first new music in more than four years.

War Child Records announced the release on Instagram, teasing a new track from the band alongside details of an upcoming charity project.

“New track from @arcticmonkeys and more info about our upcoming project to support children living through war,” the organization wrote. A short teaser video shared with the post shows a child running into the sea, set to laughter and hazy, distorted instrumentals.

The band last released new music with their 2022 album The Car, which reached No. 2 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart. Since then, Arctic Monkeys headlined Glastonbury in 2023 and completed a world tour later that year, wrapping up with a final show in Ireland in October.
