National City man celebrates 100th birthday with family and friends

Gilberto Martinez celebrated his 100th birthday in National City, surrounded by family members who traveled from across the United States and Mexico, after a lifetime defined by immigration, nearly 20 years of labor at San Diego International Airport, and overcoming recent health challenges.
