Man dead after crash on U.S. 40 in Greenfield, Indiana
GREENFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — Indiana State Police are investigating a fatal crash Monday on U.S. 40 near the intersection of County Road 600 East outside of Greenfield.
In a Tuesday press release, state police said first responders were called to the scene around 1 p.m. Monday where they found two damaged vehicles. Inside one of vehicles, they found 43-year-old Bryan Burris of New Palestine unresponsive. He died at the scene.
Investigators believe while Burris was driving his Honda southbound on 600 E., he didn’t stop at the stop sign at U.S. 40, and hit the side of a Ford truck driving westbound on U.S. 40. This crash caused Burris’s Honda to roll over.
