New Rutherford County property assessments could mean changes to taxes

Property owners throughout Rutherford County are receiving new property assessment notices in the mail. Overall, values grew by more than $29 billion across the county since the last assessment in 2022, but that doesn’t necessarily mean every resident will automatically pay more in property taxes.
