New SNAP requirements begin this weekend in New York

On March 1, New York is implementing new federal requirements to receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, benefits. Krista Hesdorfer at Hunger Solutions New York clarified the requirements, as well as who will be affected.
