WHITESTOWN, Ind. (WISH) – A new 14-acre park being built on the site of a former junkyard won’t include a long-anticipated aquatics facility.
The Town of Whitestown will break ground on Maurer Commons Park, located on the former Wrecks, Inc. salvage yard, on April 2. Once finished, the Town said the now-vacant property will feature a playground, basketball and pickleball courts, and amphitheater.
