Happy New Year, and it starts with a winter grip. Early this morning we deal with patchy freezing drizzle and a few flurries, and with road temperatures dropping, a couple slick spots are possible on untreated surfaces for the morning commute. Skies stay mostly to partly sunny through the day with highs near 30, north wind around 5 mph becoming light and variable late morning. It is a decent day overall, just watch those shaded bridges and ramps early.
