Two lucky players hit $9K TAKE 5 jackpot with winning tickets sold in Manhattan and Stittville

NEW YORK, NY — Two New Yorkers kicked off their week with a windfall after purchasing top-prize winning TAKE 5 tickets for the midday drawing on Monday, each worth $9,040.50.

The winning tickets were sold at opposite ends of the state. In Manhattan, one lucky player purchased the ticket at West 44 Candy Store located at 358 West 44th Street. The second winner bought their ticket at GTB Fuel 10, located at 9060 State Route 365 in the Oneida County hamlet of Stittville.

Both tickets matched all five numbers drawn in the January 22 TAKE 5 midday drawing. The TAKE 5 game draws from a pool of numbers ranging from 1 to 39 and holds drawings twice daily — once at 2:30 p.m. and again at 10:30 p.m.

Players have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim any prize won.

TAKE 5 continues to be one of the New York Lottery’s most accessible draw games, offering twice-daily chances to win thousands of dollars with just a $1 ticket.
