NJ Lottery delivers again with two six-figure winners

Two NJ lottery players score big with $600K and $200K scratch-off wins

Trenton, NJ – A $30 scratch-off ticket purchased in Middlesex County turned into a $600,000 payday for one lucky New Jersey Lottery player over the weekend, while another player in Burlington County won $200,000 with a different game just days earlier.

The top prize-winning ticket came from the newly launched Crossword Xtreme Scratch-Off game. It was purchased at Milltown Convenience, located at 152 South Main Street in Milltown. The $600,000 prize is the first of three top prizes available in the game, which was introduced the week of January 12.

On Sunday, Jan. 19, a second major win was reported in Maple Shade, where a player picked up a $5 “Year of the Horse” ticket at BJ’s Wholesale Club on East Kings Highway and hit for $200,000. That game still has two of its three top prizes remaining.

The New Jersey Lottery has contributed nearly $34.7 billion to state programs since its inception in 1970. Under a 30-year agreement signed into law in 2017, a significant portion of lottery profits supports the public employee...
