Hudson County lottery player hits $105K in Quick Draw jackpot win

UNION CITY, NJ — A lucky lottery player in Hudson County turned a morning ticket purchase into a six-figure payday after winning over $105,000 in the Quick Draw Progressive Jackpot.

On Wednesday, a ticket purchased at The 48 Tobacco Store, located at 4801 Bergenline Avenue in Union City, scored 20% of the Quick Draw Progressive Jackpot — totaling $105,382. The ticket was sold earlier that day, according to New Jersey Lottery officials.

Quick Draw tickets are available at retailers statewide and offer rapid results every few minutes. The Progressive Jackpot feature, included at no extra cost, selects nine random “Your Jackpot Numbers” on each ticket. Players who match all nine during their eligible draws win a percentage of the growing prize pool based on their wager amount.

The winning ticket carried a $2 wager, making it eligible for 20% of the jackpot. The current estimated total for the full jackpot has already climbed past $422,000 and continues to grow with every game.
