No. 2 Hawaii routs No. 16 UC Santa Barbara on senior night

The No. 2 University of Hawaii water polo team closed out its regular season against No. 16 UC Santa Barbara on Saturday at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatics Complex, routing the Gauchos 12-3.

Hawaii improved to 19-3 overall and 7-0 in Big West Conference play, sending out four seniors with a win.

Ten players scored in total for UH, while Roni Perlman and Bia Mantellato Dias scored twice.

Hawaii, which already clinched the top seed in the Big West Tournament prior to Saturday, will next head to Davis, Calif. for the conference tournament, which runs from April 26-28.
