INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A North Carolina man has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for attacking a woman at a gas station on the city’s northeast side.

Prosecutors say 62-year-old Mark White was found guilty of six felonies, including strangulation and pointing a firearm.

Investigators say the January 2025 incident was caught on camera near 56th Street and Emerson Way, and it began as an argument over a gas pump.
