NY watchdog group urges spending cuts to fix finances

The Citizens Budget Commission released a report urging the state government to cut spending on ineffective programs and focus on housing, infrastructure, and education to address economic stagnation and unaffordability, while warning against raising taxes which could push more New Yorkers to leave.
