Midday attack on 45-year-old woman raises concern after similar incident hours earlier

New York, NY – A second forcible touching incident inside the Grand Central–42 Street subway station is under investigation, after a woman was assaulted in broad daylight Saturday. The case comes less than a day after a similar reported attack in the same transit hub.

Police say a 45-year-old woman was standing on the mezzanine level at approximately 12:45 p.m. when she was approached by an unidentified man. The suspect allegedly placed his face against the victim’s face and grabbed her buttocks before fleeing the station on foot.
